Your Hushed Song No Longer

hushed songs

Never give up. And most importantly, be true to yourself.

Write from your heart, in your own voice, and about what you believe in.

Louise Brown

What song have you hushed?

The one of you being healthy, taking time to nurture your own needs?

The harmony of different passions that you let fade away so you could focus on the melody?

The restful beats that don’t hinder your song but can make it more dynamic?

It doesn’t matter if you are a writer, a painter, a stay-at-home-mother, a bookkeeper, an athlete, a professional _________. If you have made choices to please everyone else around you except yourself, you are not living your vitality. Yes, we can be peace-keepers too but that doesn’t mean you have to hush your song so that others may be heard. Your voice, your gifts, your kindness and love are needed. Add your song to the voices around you. We all have our parts and together we can make the most beautiful song.

I challenge you to go outside and listen to the music that nature provides.

The wind through the trees, the birds that tweet, the water that flows.

You are a part of that music.
